With the electronic data from a highly accurate detailed impression of the patient's teeth supplied by a high-definition measuring camera, this system grinds inlays, onlays, part-crowns and caps from high-quality ceramics with millimeter precision.
FAULHABER drive solution: The grinding tools are powered by a modified brushless DC-Servomotor series 2444B. The motor characteristics were optimized for this particular application. In addition, the motor rotor and sensing electronics were a fully new design. The output shaft, housing, adapter flange and cover were designed to facilitate easy integration. The motor surface treatment was changed so that it color matched the milling system to present a visually appealing aesthetic.
