The new coreless DC-Micromotor Series 1224 ... SR, available for 6, 12 and 15 Volt, has an exceptional power-to-volume ratio. The skew-would ironless rotor uses the unique System FAULHABER® technology which features low inertia for fast acceleration and high efficiency. The motor delivers up to 2 W, 13’800 rpm and stall torque of 5.4 mNm; the continuous rating of 1.80 mNm is an 80% increase over the previous model. In this small package, the high density rare earth magnet furnishes maximum power and dynamism whilst new commutation technology extends the operating life. A choice of all-metal gearheads, with reduction ratios from 4:1 to 154’000:1, enables a great variety of combination options and gives the flexibility for a wide variety of applications. True planetary gearing in a compact design provides torque and load-carrying capacity of up to 450 mNm. Zero backlash spur gearheads with pre-loaded gears offer precision backlash-free output shaft movement. The 30B in-line magnetic Encoder uses solid state Hall sensor technology for reliable velocity and position control of the DC-Micromotor, featuring 2-channel TTL level output with 10 lines at frequencies of up to 7.2 kHz.
