Guiding principles of environmental policy at Dr. Fritz Faulhaber GmbH & Co. KG
We are conscious of the fact that all activities relating to the development, manufacture, sale and use of our products have an influence on the environment. We therefore consider environmental protection as an integral part of corporate management and are fully committed to ensuring that this is reflected in all functions and at all levels. Management has therefore drawn up the following guidelines concerning the company’s environmental policy.
Company policy on environmental protection Faulhaber undertakes to achieve its business goals while taking into account and respecting the need to protect the environment.
Employee awareness Environmental protection is the concern of every employee. Information and training form the basis for acting in an environmentally-aware manner.
Avoiding environmental pollution We undertake to use natural resources, materials and energy considerately. Where environmental pollution cannot be avoided, we reduce it in as far as technology allows.
Dealing with environmental risk Any environmental risk that may arise as a result of our activities or through our products will be systematically identified, assessed and minimized.
Continual improvement process To ensure we attain the environmental goals described here, new programmes and initiatives will be introduced each year. We shall continually work to improve products and processes.
Inclusion of business partners We also require a commitment to avoiding/reducing environmental pollution from our business partners.
Observance of legal requirements We undertake to respect all applicable laws, decrees and other requirements in respect of the environment
Transparent communications We shall maintain an open dialogue with all stakeholders. We shall inform those interested about the environmental effect of the company’s activities.
